How often should I bathe my newborn?

Massage oil before the bath, then the head-to-toe wash, then lotion on damp skin within three minutes so moisture is sealed in. Rash cream goes on last, only where you need it.

How long should a baby massage be?

Five to ten minutes is enough for a newborn and up to fifteen minutes for older babies. Warm a small amount of oil between your palms and use slow strokes from the centre outwards, stopping whenever your baby signals they have had enough.

Does my baby need lotion every day?

Most babies do well with lotion once or twice a day, after a bath and before bedtime. Dry weather, air conditioning, or naturally dry skin can call for a little more, especially on the shins, cheeks, and arms.

Yes. In humid months a lighter layer and fewer applications feel better; in winter go for oil before the bath plus lotion right after. Adjust the amount rather than the products themselves.

Aloe vera and calendula soothe and hydrate, neem is traditionally used to keep skin clean, sandalwood is cooling, brahmi is a classic scalp and massage ingredient in Ayurveda, and zinc oxide forms a physical barrier on skin during nappy changes.

Not automatically. Plenty of traditional ingredients are too strong for infant skin, so we use them at low, baby-appropriate levels and pair every formula with a full ingredient list on the product page so you can check exactly what is in the bottle.

Why do you avoid heavy essential oils?

Concentrated essential oils can irritate very young skin and overwhelm a baby's sense of smell. We keep fragrance extremely light and skip the essential-oil blends that are common in adult Ayurvedic products.

Are the products fragranced?

Only faintly. What you smell is mostly the plant oils and butters themselves. If your baby is fragrance-sensitive, start with the sensitive-skin range.

Many parents do, starting with the sensitive-skin products and a patch test. If your baby has diagnosed eczema or is under a doctor's care, share the ingredient list with your paediatrician first · we make gentle cosmetics, not medicines.

Stop using it, rinse the area with plain water, and let the skin settle. If redness lasts more than a day or your baby is uncomfortable, see your paediatrician and take the pack with you. Message us and we will take the product back.

Unopened packs can be returned within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. If a product did not suit your baby's skin, tell us within 7 days and we will arrange a return even if the pack is opened.

Send us a photo of the outer pack and the product on WhatsApp within 48 hours of delivery and we will ship a replacement · no return pickup needed.
